SaiJai Tech showcased its AIoT flash-flood monitoring and prediction system on an international stage in Malaysia.
From July 29 to August 1, 2026, an executive from SaiJai Tech Co., Ltd. was invited to speak on an international stage at ARCHIDEX 2026, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The presentation, titled “AIoT in Action: Enabling Smart and Resilient Communities in Thailand,” showcased an AIoT solution developed to monitor and predict flash-flood risks while supporting early-warning efforts for communities in Thailand.
The system integrates data collected from sensors installed in real-world locations, including water levels, rainfall, and environmental conditions, with imagery from monitoring cameras. Artificial intelligence analyzes information from these multiple sources to assess current conditions, identify abnormalities, and predict potential risks.
The resulting analysis can support decision-making and early-warning operations, giving relevant agencies, community leaders, and local residents more time to prepare, evacuate, or implement appropriate risk-reduction measures. The solution aims to minimize potential losses to lives, property, and essential community infrastructure.
The project has since been developed into published research and deployed in an actual operational area. This demonstrates how artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technologies can be transformed into a practical solution that delivers tangible benefits to communities.
In addition to presenting the project, participation in ARCHIDEX 2026 provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, perspectives, and experiences with experts from various countries. The insights gained will contribute to the continued improvement of the system and help ensure that it responds more effectively to local community needs and conditions.
The presentation received strong interest from the audience. Following the session, participants raised numerous questions and exchanged views on system operations, field-data collection, AI-based analysis, and opportunities to adapt the technology for use in other locations.
This international presentation highlighted the potential of technology developed by SaiJai Tech to support disaster-risk management and contribute to safer, stronger, and more resilient communities.
SaiJai Tech Co., Ltd. would like to thank the ARCHIDEX 2026 organizers, fellow experts, and all participants for the opportunity to present this work and for the valuable knowledge and experiences shared during the event.
