SaiJai Tech contributed to discussions on practical standards for efficient, connected, and sustainable smart city development.
On August 11, 2026, an executive from SaiJai Tech Co., Ltd. attended the first 2026 meeting of the Committee for the Development of Smart City Standards, following an appointment as an advisor to the Smart City Standards Drafting Committee of the Engineering Institute of Thailand under H.M. the King’s Patronage (EIT).
The meeting began at 1:00 p.m. in the Boardroom on the fourth floor of the EIT Building in Bangkok. Its primary agenda was to consider the development of smart city standards that can serve as a reference for public agencies, engineering professionals, technology providers, and other organizations involved in urban development.
As an advisor to the drafting committee, the SaiJai Tech executive contributes to the overall review of the proposed standards, taking into account relevant academic principles, laws, existing standards, and current technological developments before the document proceeds toward publication and future use.
The proposed smart city standards are intended to establish common guidance for urban planning, design, installation, operations, system integration, data exchange, and the maintenance of building systems and public utilities. A shared framework can help different urban systems operate together more effectively.
In practical terms, a smart city applies technology and data to improve urban management and public services, including transportation, energy, environmental monitoring, public safety, and infrastructure. The goal is to make services more accessible, reduce unnecessary resource consumption and pollution, and support sustainable urban growth.
Common standards can help government agencies, private organizations, engineers, technology developers, and service providers design compatible systems. They can also reduce integration challenges and enable data to support better decisions and more responsive public services.
Through its participation, SaiJai Tech brings experience in digital technology, artificial intelligence, and connected data systems into the standards-development process. This involvement supports the creation of practical smart city guidance that reflects local conditions and delivers long-term value to citizens and communities.
